The UN and Dell announce the first hackathon in Ukraine!
It happened! A hackathon (high-speed programming competition for social projects) called Open Ideas 4UA will be held in Ukraine for the first time on a joint initiative of the UN and Dell.
The event will be held in Kyiv from 9 to 11 November. The start will take place on the 9th at 14:00 in the large hall of the Kiev Express Hotel, and the competition itself will take place on the 10th from 10 am to 9 pm at the Ciklum office (business center on Amosova St., 12). In total, it is planned to develop at least 15 prototypes of electronic projects: from applications for smartphones based on iOS or Android to web portals, e-government services and technologies for cartographic presentation of the general plans of Ukrainian cities in the public domain. The three best prototypes will receive mini-grants for revision and support from leading specialists from partner companies.
